He will demand attention, and you should give him as much time as possible during this period. Praise him often and call him by name. Smells and sounds

Some puppies miss the familiar smells and sounds they were used to before they got into your home. If your puppy is having a hard time adjusting to a new environment, you can try using a dog appeasing pheromone spray (DAP) that will give your puppy a familiar sense of calm. However, use these in moderation – it’s important for your puppy to get used to the new surroundings. You can also turn on the radio quietly at night near his place.

Just like a small child, a puppy needs a good night’s sleep, so it’s important to give him a warm, quiet place where he can rest during the day and sleep at night. Family life can be a shock for a small puppy, so he needs some time to be alone. Arrange his place where he will feel calm and safe. Puppies often prefer to sleep in enclosed spaces, so you may want to find a crate for them. You can put a soft bed inside the box, and then it will be a “safe haven” for your pet in those moments when he needs peace and quiet.

When you bring your puppy home for the first time, it is best to continue feeding him the food he is used to. But not all puppy diets are the same; some contain much higher quality ingredients than others, so you can gradually transition your puppy to whatever diet your veterinarian recommends.
