What should be the name for a degu?

Degus have extremely acute hearing and are excellent at recognizing sounds. With proper socialization, a degu easily remembers its name and responds to it. This is useful for learning tricks. Of course, the simpler the name, the easier the pet will remember it and the easier it will be for you to pronounce it. It would be spectacular to name the animal Romualdo, but still “Kiwi” or “Esya” is much more suitable for him.
